Senior SDET – Booking and Payments Services

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to help strengthen the quality, reliability, and scalability of our booking, payments, and commerce solutions. You will work closely with developers, product owners, and quality engineers to ensure that our solutions deliver a seamless experience to customers around the world.

This role is ideal for an experienced automation engineer who enjoys building robust test frameworks, improving engineering practices, and working on business-critical payment solutions.

What You'll Do 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions using Playwright and TypeScript.

• Build UI, API, integration, and end-to-end automated tests for booking and payment services.

• Drive risk-based testing and quality engineering practices across the product lifecycle.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and help define and maintain quality gates

• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and quality engineers to improve testability and overall product quality.

• Identify quality risks early through requirement reviews and technical discussions.

• Mentor and support team members in test automation and quality engineering best practices.

• Continuously improve automation coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a proactive and collaborative approach to quality engineering.

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer.

• Experience with payment, e-commerce, subscription, billing, POS, or financial transaction platforms.

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.

• Experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs and backend services.

• Experience integrating and maintaining automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

AI & Emerging Technologies

• Experience with AI and machine learning concepts and an understanding of how they can be applied within a quality engineering context.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing integrations with payment gateways such as Adyen, Stripe, PayPal, or Nets.

• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.

• Experience with performance, load, or security testing.

• Experience working in Agile product teams.

• Interest in sports technology or SaaS products.

We are located at DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. We take great pride in the state-of-art building we have designed!
