Join our marketing team and help us tell the world why Denmark is a great place to build a research career!
We're looking for a creative and structured Student Marketing Assistant to join the Science Hub Denmark team at Copenhagen Capacity. You'll support our marketing and communication activities aimed at international researchers, from social media content and campaigns to website copy and newsletters.
It's a chance to gain hands-on experience with place branding, content production and digital marketing in an international work environment, on a project that brings together all Danish universities and many partners.
Your tasks and responsibilities
• Plan and produce content (text, visual and video) for our social media channels, website, newsletters and campaigns, in line with our brand guidelines.
• Come up with creative angles and formats that make Danish research and life in Denmark come alive for an international audience.
• Film and edit short videos, for example researcher stories, event content and short social formats.
• Write and edit copy for our website, research.state-of-denmark.com, and update content in our CMS.
• Take part in social media management, including organic posts and community management.
• Help set up newsletters and marketing automation emails in HubSpot.
• Support the team in running campaigns, events and activations, both online and in person.
• Help track and report on the performance of our marketing activities.
Your profile
You're currently studying marketing, communication, media or something similar. You're creative and structured, and you enjoy turning ideas into finished content.
It would be great if you have some of the skills below, but don't worry if you don’t tick all the boxes! If you have the right mindset, we're happy to teach you!
• Experience creating content for social media, e.g. reels, LinkedIn posts or short videos. You have an eye for a good story and know how to capture it on camera.
• Skills in filming and editing video, on your phone or with tools like Premiere Pro or CapCut.
• Excellent written English, from a short caption to a longer web text.
• You're comfortable talking to new people, such as interviewing a researcher or chatting with guests at an event.
• Experience with a CMS, HubSpot or similar tools, or you pick up new tools quickly.
• An eye for visual communication. Experience with Canva, Figma or Adobe tools is a plus.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• An interest in science and research is a plus (but not a requirement).
What we offer
Our offices are located in Havneholmen. You'll work part-time, 15–20 hours per week, and we'll agree on a schedule that fits your studies.
You'll join a passionate and international team at Copenhagen Capacity, where the office language is English, so you don't need to speak Danish. You'll get real responsibility, and your work will reach researchers all over the world. We have lunch together in the company canteen and enjoy Friday bars, team dinners, and Christmas and summer parties.
Copenhagen Capacity is Greater Copenhagen’s organization for investment promotion and regional economic development. We work to make the region even more attractive to foreign investment and market it internationally to attract companies, investors, and highly educated workers.
