Cafe Flottenheimer is looking for a Floor Manager

Are you passionate about hospitality, quality service, and effective restaurant teamwork? Cafe Flottenheimer is seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to lead our waiting team and help ensure our guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience every day.

About the Role

As Floor Manager at Cafe Flottenheimer, you will coordinate daily front-of-house operations, combining hands-on waiting duties with supervision of the service team. You will work closely with the kitchen to maintain smooth service, a welcoming atmosphere, and consistent standards of guest care.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and beverages

• Coordinate daily service, allocate sections, and organize waiting staff duties

• Brief, guide, and train waiting staff to maintain service standards

• Coordinate orders and service timing with the kitchen team

• Monitor beverage stocks, arrange replenishment, and minimize waste

• Handle reservations, guest enquiries, and complaints professionally

• Oversee payments, opening and closing routines, and dining-area cleanliness

Working Conditions

• Full-time position

• Work in a guest-facing restaurant environment, outside the kitchen

• Working hours may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays

• Responsibility for maintaining service, hygiene, safety, and operational standards throughout each shift

We Expect

• Solid experience as a Floor Manager, Head Waiter, or in a similar supervisory service role

• Strong leadership and communication skills, including the ability to coordinate a busy team

• Knowledge of beverage service, stock control, and payment systems

• Passion for hospitality and delivering attentive, professional guest service
