Video Editor (Maternity Cover)
About the job
We are looking for an experienced Video Editor / Photographer to join our in-house creative team for a six-month maternity cover starting in December. The main focus of the role is on video production and editing.
The position is located in our modern Global HQ office in Hellerup. As a Video Editor in the creative team, you will report directly to the Head of Design & Production. You will be responsible for creating video content using in-house resources and agency-produced campaign materials. Your tasks will also include planning and shooting smaller productions, such as financial-analysis talking heads, as well as handling editing, colour grading, sound, and effects through to final delivery. Photography is a secondary part of the role, which will include taking employee portraits and capturing photos of internal events. Major campaign video shoots and still photography are produced with external agencies.
The ideal candidate combines strong editing and storytelling skills with hands-on filming experience. As well as the ability to independently deliver polished video content across various channels.
In this role, you will get the opportunity to work in a hands-on video production role within a global scope. As well as have creative ownership on a variety of assignments. You will work alongside collaborative and highly skilled colleagues in a team that values creativity, ownership, and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Plan and shoot smaller video productions using in-house resources, such as financial-analysis talking heads and expert interviews, managing cameras, lighting, and sound recording
- Create engaging social media content from in-house footage and agency-produced campaign materials, shaping stories, pacing, and visual flow from initial assembly to final cut
- Complete video post-production, including colour correction and grading, sound editing and mixing, motion graphics, visual effects, and sub-titling
- Edit agency-produced campaign footage into cutdowns and localised versions, adapting aspect ratios, subtitles, graphics, and audio for different channels and markets
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and compliance stakeholders, incorporating feedback and ensuring brand consistency and production quality
- Manage footage, project files, version control, and final exports, meeting technical specifications and production deadlines
- Photograph employees and internal events, including image selection and retouching
- Coordinate with agencies when supporting major campaign still photography
Your profile
- 5+ years of experience in video production and editing, ideally within a creative agency, production company, or an in-house team
- A strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, filming, editing, and polished post-production across commercial and social content
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, with working knowledge of After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects
- Hands-on experience filming smaller productions, including talking heads, with camera operation, lighting, and sound, colour grading, audio finishing, and export workflows
- Ability to deliver video content using in-house resources and agency footage, photography skills for employee portraits and events, including Photoshop or Lightroom
- Strong collaboration skills, fluency in English, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines independently
