THE BUSINESS HUB

The Business Hub is Visma e-conomic's value creation engine for a small, fast-moving portfolio of products, each serving its customers with its own individual product. Every one arrives with a distinct history and potential – and the Hub is where that potential is turned into growth, at a time of real volatility, uncertainty and opportunity in a market being reshaped by AI and new business models.

It's about building lasting growth, with genuine variety across different products and stages, and none of the churn of a portfolio built to be flipped.

THE ROLE

This newly created role sits at the heart of the Business Hub's leadership team. As Director of Commercial and Portfolio Strategy, you build each product's value creation plan and own the commercial and strategic direction that gets it there – acting as the commercial counterpart to every product in the portfolio, and moving between portfolio-level strategy and hands-on work with each product's team.

You report to Emilie, COO and Head of Business Hub, and sit on the Business Hub Leadership Team alongside the Director of Product & Engineering and the Director of Integration & Operations. You will lead 15+ people across the portfolio’s commercial functions, including the Commercial Leads appointed in each product.

YOUR IMPACT

• Every product has a clear endgame and runway – stand-alone growth, integration into e-conomic, or a hybrid of both – based on your assessment and agreed with e-conomic Management.

• Every product has a value creation plan that shows how it reaches its targets over a defined period.

• Each product’s value streams are turned into a commercial plan and driven through execution together with its Commercial Lead.

• The Hub pursues the commercial synergy cases that matter most, including cross-sell and attach into the e-conomic and wider Visma base.

• Every new company is worked through a structured, repeatable value creation method that you develop and maintain.

• Portfolio priorities reflect the commercial and value creation view, so the Hub focuses where the growth potential is greatest.

YOUR PROFILE

Each product in our portfolio has its own commercial history and momentum. You'll bring the strong commercial expertise needed to build on that, developing and executing strategies tailored to each business.

What you bring

• Commercially sharp – you can read a product's value streams, spot where the real earning potential sits, and move fast to capture it.

• Deep, hands-on expertise in value creation or commercial strategy, gained in a private equity, consulting, or in-house product-portfolio setting, with the credibility to earn trust with strong, opinionated product leadership.

• A genuine passion for leadership – you enjoy building, coaching and developing people, including senior and specialist profiles.

• An outside-the-box thinker, just as comfortable setting direction as getting hands-on to make it happen, with a bias for building structure in unknown territory rather than waiting for it.

• Strong analytics and business casing, plus a solid grasp of modern SaaS commercial models and how AI is reshaping product value and pricing.

• A natural fit within a small, senior leadership team, working in close alignment with peers who lead adjacent parts of the Hub (Product & Engineering, Integration & Operations).

• Fluent Danish, spoken and written, alongside excellent English.

Nice to have: a track record of driving a growth plan through execution, and experience in Danish or Nordic markets alongside globally distributed teams.

The Interview Process

Applications are reviewed continuously, and we invite candidates for interviews as we go.

Initial screening: Conversation with Diana (Talent Partner) to learn more about your motivation and assess fit against the role's defined success criteria.

1st interview: Meet up with Emilie, COO & Head of Business Hub, where we’ll learn more about you, and you’ll get to know the role more in depth. Duration: ~60 min.

2nd interview: Dive deep into the strategic complexity with Emilie and Martin, CSO. You’ll receive a business case and personality assessment in advance to prepare. We will dedicate at least 1 hour of this session to an interactive case presentation and strategic discussion.

If all interviews align, we typically follow up with two short reference calls as part of the process.
