Anadolu Bakery on Vollsmose Torv is looking for an experienced baker with expertise in Turkish baked goods. Can you make simit, pide and baklava that keep our customers coming back? Then we would love to hear from you.

About the bakery

Anadolu Bakery is a local bakery in the heart of Vollsmose Torv in Odense. Every day we bake Turkish and Middle Eastern bread and pastries from scratch – for the families, shops and cafés of the neighbourhood. For us, quality, freshness and traditional recipes are everything.

Your tasks

•         Baking Turkish bread such as simit, pide, lavaş and ekmek

•         Making börek, poğaça and other puff pastry and yeast-dough goods

•         Making baklava, kadayıf and other Turkish desserts

•         Planning the daily production so the counter is full from opening time

•         Keeping track of ingredients, hygiene and food safety self-checks

•         Training and supporting colleagues and apprentices in the bakery

What we expect

•         Several years of experience with Turkish baked goods – ideally from Turkey or a Turkish bakery in Denmark

•         That you can work early mornings and weekends

•         That you are reliable and independent, with a firm grip on quality and hygiene

•         That you speak Danish and Turkish
