Are you passionate about IT, business, and finance? As a Business Consultant, you will specialise in banking and investment, collaborating with clients and experienced colleagues to design IT solutions and develop expertise in investment processes and corporate actions.

We deliver various IT solutions and services to banks and savings institutions across Denmark and other Nordic countries. We provide a modern, cloud-based core banking platform serving more than 50 Nordic banks with over 2 million end customers. Our solutions encompass daily banking operations, mobile and internet banking, payments, investment management, risk management, compliance, and open banking. 

Responsibilities 

We are looking for a Business Consultant with an interest in digitalisation and financial services to support initiatives within banking and investment. You will contribute to analysing business needs, mapping processes, and designing IT solutions in close collaboration with clients and colleagues. An interest in or basic knowledge of investment-related processes is an advantage. 

You will join a team of highly experienced professionals who will support your continuous development towards a role as subject matter expert within IT solutions for banking and investment. Over time, you will build deep domain knowledge and develop into a go-to within banking and investment solutions. 

Your responsibilities will typically include: 

• Analysing clients' business needs and translating and formulating requirements into IT solutions within the banking and investment domain. 

• Mapping business processes and facilitating workshops with clients to identify needs, challenges, and opportunities for optimisation. 

• Supporting the analysis and design of solutions related to investment processes. 

• Collaborating with experienced colleagues and clients on solution design, testing, refinement, and implementation, while supporting user involvement, training, and change management where relevant. 

• Building domain knowledge through hands-on project experience and knowledge sharing, with the opportunity to develop into a subject matter expert over time. 

About you 

You actively seek understanding by asking questions and encourage learning through curiosity and dialogue. You enjoy understanding how business processes work and how IT can support and improve them. Deadlines do not intimidate you, and you are willing to go the extra mile when needed. To succeed in this role, you: 

• Are either a recent graduate or have a few years of experience, ideally working at the intersection of IT, business, and organisation. Most importantly you are motivated to build specialized domain knowledge. 

• Hold a relevant master's degree, such as Cand.merc. IT, Cand.it., or a similar degree with a focus on the intersection of finance and IT. 

• Have a genuine interest in IT and digitalisation, preferably combined with an interest in finance, banking, investment, or financial services. 

• Have an interest in or basic experience with investment-related processes, such as corporate actions. Previous experience within banking or investment is an advantage, but not a requirement. 

• Full professional proficiency in Danish and English (written and spoken) is a must
