Getting started as a job seeker

jajob.dk is a job portal for Denmark that works in English, Danish and Ukrainian (legal documents are official in Danish and English). Search, profile, applications and status timelines are free for job seekers.

Create your account

Sign up with your email and a password, choose "job seeker", and you land on your dashboard ("Overview"). From there you can search jobs, see your applications and edit your profile.

Fill in your profile

Open Profile and add:

• a short headline (for example "Backend developer, Python") and a summary of your experience;
• your languages with a level (A1–C2 or native) — this is how employers see that you can work in English even without Danish;
• your skills;
• whether you are comfortable working in Danish.

A complete profile gives better match suggestions on your dashboard. The completeness bar on the dashboard shows what is missing.

• Search jobs and save the searches you repeat — you can get alerts for new matches.
