The AI assistant

The assistant is the chat button in the corner of every page. It is an AI system and can make mistakes — check important answers.

What it can do

• Answer questions about how jajob works, with links to the help pages it used.
• Search jobs for you.
• Job seekers: list your applications, explain why a job matches your profile, suggest profile improvements and draft a cover letter.
• Employers: draft a job ad, check an ad for salary range, wording and language requirements, summarise a pipeline, prepare interview questions and summarise an application.

You stay in control

The assistant never changes anything on its own. When it suggests an action — for example applying to a job or changing your profile visibility — you see a card with a button, and nothing happens until you click it. It never rejects or ranks candidates; people make hiring decisions.

Your data

The assistant only sees what your account may see. Your messages and the data needed to answer are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing. Conversations are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically. Without an account the assistant can only answer help questions and search jobs.
