We’re looking for a Global Food Compliance & Regulatory Specialist who knows their way around food legislation, ingredients, labels and claims, and who has a talent for turning complex regulations into clear, practical solutions.

You’ll be our go-to expert on food compliance, working closely with colleagues and suppliers to make sure compliance is built into our products from the start. Not added as an afterthought.

This is the job

You’ll join our Food team and work across functions including Buying, Product, Quality, Procurement, Legal, Marketing and Sustainability.

Your world will span everything from checking ingredients and product labels to keeping an eye on new legislation, supplier documentation and potential compliance risks.

In practice, you’ll:

• Keep up with relevant food legislation and regulatory developments and translate changes into clear actions for the business.
• Review ingredients, recipes, specifications and Bills of Materials to make sure our food products meet applicable requirements.
• Review and approve product labels, declarations and marketing claims.
• Guide colleagues on regulatory questions and help make complex requirements understandable and actionable.
• Support the onboarding of food suppliers and make sure the right compliance documentation and certifications are in place.
• Work with suppliers to resolve compliance issues before products reach our customers.
• Help keep us prepared for the unexpected through strong recall processes, stop-sale management, CAPA follow-up and compliance reporting.
• Identify potential risks early and work with the business to find pragmatic solutions.
• Develop training and awareness activities that strengthen food compliance knowledge across the organization.
• Help us continuously improve our tools, processes and ways of working.

This is you

You know food compliance. But just as importantly, you know how to make it work in the real world.

You enjoy digging into the details, but you can also step back, assess the risk and explain what really matters. You’re comfortable saying, “Here’s what the regulation says, and here’s how we can solve it.”

We imagine you bring:

• A relevant background in food science, food technology, regulatory affairs, quality management or something similar.
• Solid experience with food legislation, regulatory compliance or product compliance.
• Hands-on experience with specifications, ingredients, labelling and claims.
• Experience working with suppliers and compliance documentation.
• An understanding of food-related certification schemes and their documentation.
• A structured and analytical approach, with a good eye for detail.
• The confidence to take ownership and follow an issue all the way through to resolution.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience with recalls, CAPA processes, regulatory inspections or international retail/FMCG is a definite plus.
